new fun gun!

[LSCG]

picked up a new 22/45 yesterday. ran around 100 rounds through it and at first there was some trouble with the magazines not wanting to feed but after 50 or 60 rounds it started to shoot really well. I happen to have some really nice Tri-tone Thai Rosewood Burl grips laying around so I put those on there for now. next step will be Volquartsen parts, loaded chamber indicator removal and a red dot.

Congrats on the 22/45. I picked up a standard 22/45 target not long ago and so far really like it. It shoots great.

I will say, you may want to make sure the screw on your front sight is tight. I saw a youtube video where a guy had two 22/45s and mentioned the front sight had loosened on both of his. I decided to check mine and sure enough it was loose. I put a little blue thread lock on it so hopefully that will hold it.

I checked the front sight and it was slightly loose so I put some loctite on it. shouldn't go anywhere now. :)

yep, being a 1911 man it is definitely more comfortable in my hand than a standard MKlll.
