New Eagle grips for Alaskan

Here is how the Secret service grips from Eagle look on the Alaskan next to my NAA Pug. :D

Can you say OUCH!!! Isn't that .454 gun the reason why they developed that rubber grip with the 'sorbothane' insert in it.
Of course you might be shooting .45 colt in it. :D :D

Nice looking wood there. About the recoil. It all depends on how they fit your hand. I just put some Nill Griffe wood grips on my 4" 45 Colt Redhawk. I shoot some stout 355gr loads and the wood grips fit my hand much better than the rubber hogues or pachmeyers that I can shoot it better and manage the recoil.

I like that a lot. The factory Redhawk grips leave a lot to be desired. Those wood grips on the Alaskan...OUCH!
