Well, here is a pic of my newest build, a Spikes Tactical lower and Del ton upper, Rock River national match trigger, Hogue grip:

Still need to put some optics on it. Am thinking of taking the Nikon off the Mini and putting it on the AR.

My other AR I have had for several years now. It is a Double Star lower (made right here in KY) with a Del Ton upper, and same stuff the one above has. I have to have a good trigger, and the Rock River two stage is a great one, IMHO.



Wish I could afford to buy one of the Ruger ARs!

I'm building a DPMS for the wife right now...

I do have a factory AR at least until then...

Funny thing. I bought a S&W M&P-15 back in maybe January or February...can't remember exactly when. Spent a few bucks tricking it out a little. Got five 30-round magazines with it and lots of ammo. Then put it back in the original box...never even fired it. It's still there. Or I reckon it is. Under the bed or in a locked closet. I haven't seen it in a while. Only reason I bought the thing was because I didn't like the idea of someone six months down the road telling me I couldn't own one. It's one of the extremely rare exceptions to my "I don't buy new guns" rule.

Mine happened to be laying here on the couch so I snapped a quick pic. Stock Colt 6920 with a Leupold 1.5-6x. Way more accurate that a short little carbine like that has a right to be.

Shot it today for the first time. After sighting it in, I had a steel pop up target set up at 100 yards and was nailing it everytime. Think it is a keeper!

They're a lot of fun, and at today's .22 LR prices you can shoot one might bear as cheap if you load your own.
