Been a long time coming. Have wanted one of these for a looong time. Finally said "get me one". Competitor in .357 max here but also got an extra bbl in 22lr match. That one will get optics. This one...not sure yet. Just darn happy to get it finally. Will add other chamberings later on.

I guess I've never seen one before so I didn't even know I wanted one. Are they single shot? Is it like a Thompson Contender where you swap the barrels? Is Competitor the brand? It looks like a Savage accu-trigger, or is that a safety?

I like the wood, it looks comfortable.

It's a Competitor and yes a single shot. It's basically an upgrade of the Lone eagle from years ago. same guy designed both but left Magnum Research to go and design this one on his own. Unlike the LE, you simply change the barrel rather than the entire assembly. Rimfires do require a different extractor though. Turn the breach clockwise to expose chamber, insert cartridge, rotate breach back and you're ready to go. basically, you pick the bbl length and the chambering - 14 cal to 470 Capstick. They're fairly unknown as he doesn't really push or promote them much. This has turned into more side job as he's busy making parts and bbls for other manufacturers now. Brother has seen the shop and it sounds like  Just CNC machines whirring and buzzing. A LOT of production going on. Trigger is now adjustable and is awesome - breaks like glass. :)
