Very cool! Altho I do little metal work we may see this come into play
with abrasives in wood working like said paper and such especially belts.
No heat means longer lasting in the abrasive world. ps

Hopefully it's somewhat self cleaning.
Painted, galvanized or aluminum materials quickly clog the grit of most abrasives.

I use a belt cleaning stick to keep my sandpaper clog free and cutting well. The stick lasts a long time (years) and really lengthens the life of the belt. Works well on disks also.

I machine and fabricate a fair amount of stuff out of 304 and 316 SS for one of my customers.
I've tried the Cubitron wheels and wouldn't call them a "game changer", they might be
a small improvement and I slightly prefer them over most conventional stuff when
working stainless. Never see much difference on most carbon steel.
As for aluminum, well it plugs up everything, that's what they make carbide for.
And wood.......never heard of it.....

Ya been using on of those for years and they do work pretty good. Seems we are over due
for some break thru in grit cloth. Stuff is getting expensive I use a 5" random orbital
sander the stick on the hook loop is even more pricey.
Oh well the consumer pays in the end just hate shelling out cash for throw away items lol. ps

Amazon isn't the only source. You can get them elsewhere. Often locally at any woodworking store or sometimes at a home improvement place. Woodcraft.com, Grizzly.com and others have them.
