Ruger is bringing out a new single six in the 327 maggie, thats great news. Not sure if its a six or a seven shot, been its on its way. Better start looking for brass. This is another Lipsey's exclusive, all of us sixgunners owe them a big thank you. I'm hoping the 480 Bisley is next.

No thanks I'll stick to my 357 mag. don't have to worry about brass for it.

From what I've heard, a 7 shot, and likely on a Single-Six frame size.
I don't know if I'll get one,,, well, maybe I'll just have to, as I do already have the Blackhawk in 327.

Already told Gunsbam to reserve me one.

I believe it was 2 as I recall :D I just hope it's easy to BE a .327 so I'll have one cooler than Dick's stock Blackhawk

EDITED 6-15-2014 :!: You may want to make it 3 Joe :!: I ain't kiddin neither

That was true!

Well Dick said it's a 327...

Please dont get my hopes up Sixshot!!!

Wait, since Dick has a 327 Blackhawk and is wanting a 327 Single Six, he will have to change his name to "six, seven, and eightshot". :D

Nahh,,, sixshot keeps his handle,, as he has "others" that only carry 6. When he whacks an elk with a 327,,, THEN we may look at a change in his handle! (But I doubt he'll try that one!)

I doubt I'd ever use a 327 maggie on an elk but I wouldn't hesitate on a deer or antelope at sixgun distance using the Ferminator bullet. Hoping for elk, deer & antelope tags next week!

Dick

I think the 327 is perfect for the single six. I see at least one in my future... a 7-shot no less.

I guess sixshot will keep his handle,, as I suspected he would. But,, knowing him, if he were out there, and an elk needed a finishing shot, and he had his ferminator slugs in a 327,,, the elk would get whacked if he felt it'd do the job at that moment.
And I KNOW a deer or antelope would be in trouble,,,!
PS Dick, good luck on the tags!

OK, I'm sure these new single six 327's are going to be a hot ticket for a good while. Don't wait to talk with your dealer & get in the pipeline.....but, most will wait until they get their gun to buy BRASS, don't wait, order brass now, you can always sell it to Callshot later!

Dick

Lol
I have 1-200 32 H&R mag brass. I probably should get some 327 brass... Since i'll have that option...
