I got my first rig from Doc out last night and set it up with the 4 3/4 cross draw for my Model 83 in .475 and Bowie a friend made. Doc made this for a couple of my Bisleys and custom knives a few years back. If you'd of told me then my Bisley big bores would be gone and there'd be a Model 83 in this rig I'd of laughed you off the plains :mrgreen:

That would be Doc Barranti of Barranti leather, great work.

His real name is Mike Barranti. He got his "handle" of Doc from some good friends. It comes from a quote by Skeeter Skelton. Skeeter said; "Next to my doctor, my holster maker is the most important person I know."

I have 5 of Doc's shucks,,, and not only are they some of the finest work I've ever seen,, they are extremely functional.
