Can someone please recommend a laser/LED light combo that fits the SR40? I don't care if its green or red laser but would like the cost to be around $200 or less.
The problem I have with Streamlight and others is the huge gap between laser/light controls and trigger guard. Its too far to manipulate with your shooting hand. I see now why Glock, HK, and other trigger guards are flat in the front. It allows the rails to come in closer, and the laser/light controls are inside the trigger guard. This is not a problem on the SR40c. Don't get me wrong. I love my two Ruger SR40s, SR40c, LCP, SP101, KP89, and Mini-30. :-)
So far, the only laser/light combo that looks decent on the SR40 is the $300+ Viridian X5L Gen 1, but the Viridian fit chart says the X5L and C5L do not fit the SR40 but do fit the SR40c.
