NBA Finals

I almost hate to post this because every time I do, I get about 10 "I hate basketball" or "Basketball has been terrible since 1982" posts, but here I go anyway because I'm a sucker for punishment.
Anyway, here we are at Game 2. Spurs are up 1-0 in the series. Who ya got to win it?
Last year I picked Spurs in 6, but the Heat won in 7.
This year again I'm picking the Spurs in 6.

I live not far from SA and have been here since David Robinson started in '89. I'm pulling for the Spurs but don't usually predict an outcome to a series. I do think it will go six or seven games.

One more ring for Tim Duncan is my hope. A class act, a good man and a helluva ball player. Entire career with the Spurs. Go San Antonio!

I love sports but just never got into NBA after the mid to late 90's. That being said I usually root for the Hear because I find it funny how so many people dislike Lebron and get so bent out of shape when he wins a title. I do think it will go at least 6.

Now that being said the really good playoff series right now is Kings/Rangers.

Spurs in five,I'm surprised it was not more difficult,especially after losing game two at home. Going 7 games against Dallas in the first round must have done something.

The kick on Miami is the main 3 manipulated the system so they could play together. Basketball was already taking a dive, kinda trashy in my opinion, now with players being able to manipulate what team they go to, it has little luster for me.

Glad it and hockey are done. It's Summer now. Those are Winter sports.
We were talking last week about the old STL Hawks. They played the finals in April!

Congrats to the Spurs, took the Heat to 'school' , and showed what it takes, a TEAM, not just a couple of guys who pick and choose things to THEIR liking, hell, Lebron could not do it by himself in Cleveland and yes, he DID "quit" :(
