Finally, a rechargeable AA/AAA that works

My AC/Heat thermostat, PC mouse, Fluke meters, battery backup for my projection thermometer / weather clock, some flashlights etc. do NOT like 1.25 volt rechargeable batteries but last year I found a 1.5 volt rechargeable that works. It's on Ebay and the brand is called Pujumax. Everything I install them in works and lasts as if the pink bunny was in there banging away on his/her/its drum.

Funny they do not recharge on my two "smart chargers" only in the $10 Pujimax 4 slot charger. A small price to pay for long running real 1.5 volt rechargebles.

If they're a Li-ion chemistry (looks like they might be from that brand), they don't have the voltage limitations of NiCd/NiMH or compatibility with the chargers. Make perfect sense they work differently.

Glad they work for you. I take the hit on capacity and use NiZn rechargeables on the few things that really care about voltage.

I agree on the 1.5V vs 1.2/1.25V rechargeables. I was having problems with my electronic varmint call working properly on rechargeable AA batts. Switched to actual 1.5V rechargeables and the problems went away. ;)
