Wasn't Ulithi used as a atom bomb test site after the war? Or do I have my atolls mixed up?

I know that Bimini was used, maybe others ? My Dad was part of that fleet. I remember being on Va. Beach surf fishing with him as the nuclear Enterprise went out for its sea trials. His comment.."God she's a big basterd, wish we'd of had her in '45."
