After church service tonight we were leaving when a young lady, fairly new at our church, but known by her family connection, approached me. "Bro. James ______ said I should ask your advice on this," she opened.

Now I'm in no way a consular but some folks have come to me for advice with a few problems. And I usually explain there are men at our church better trained for such advice. But, she continued and I listnened.

"Where would you sugest I go to buy a 9mm?"

The same me and "Sister" are doing. Try to train as many as possible. 4 women and 2 men trained by my instructor today. 2 nd class in 2 weeks to finish both state classes. Fl. and Illinois. We recommend Florida for vacation / older + younger people. Be prepared ..!

I've had it happen more than once at my church.... which is packed with evil liberals by y'alls reckoning.... but I'm finding that there a lot more gun friendly folks there than you would expect. We all have preconceived notions that are often dead wrong.

I was helping another (newish) member change out a thermostat in the sanctuary on Saturday and he asked what I was carrying... seems my shirt had gotten pulled up because of the tool belt I had on.... found out he was a Ruger fan too...
