The newest addition to the family came in from Texas today. This Old Model Blackhawk .357 was made in 1971, and doesn't even come close to showing its age...it's in incredibly good shape.
And if you look closely, you'll see the serial number is preceded by a lightly stamped letter "D", meaning it's a duplicate serial number gun. Some of us had a long and interesting discussion on "D" guns just a few days ago on this forum (http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=188823). And during that discussion, I just went ahead and bought this gun.
So thanks again to all the people who taught me some things about duplicate serial numbered Rugers.
