First off I'll start by saying I'm a die hard weelgun guy. Blackhawks, Redhawks, Single Sixes, GP's, SP's, Service Six, Speed Six, then there's a couple others. Taurus is one I use for CC. A titanium 85 38spl. It's light, small, easy to conceal, & fairly accurate. I've read, & heard about the SR9C for awhile now, I listen to Gun Talk on the radio, & watched a couple video's on you tube. I decided I'd track one down so I could get a feel for it. Shouldn't have done that, it followed me home. I handload & cast my own bullets, one of the reasons I like wheel guns, I don't have to chase brass. I got it home, took it apart, & slugged the barrel. It measured .355 just like a 9 should. I had some handloads I shoot in a couple other guns, 115gr JHP Montana Gold bullet, random brass, at 15yds. I loaded both mags & stepped out the back door. I live in the country and shoot off my back porch. The targets show a fresh out of the box gun and me with no trigger time with it. I think with a little load development I'm going to have a new go to pistol. I have a KelTec P11 and don't really like the trigger on it. The SR9C trigger is a day & night difference, I was impressed. I've owned several "P" series pistols and eventually traded them off because of the looong trigger pull. This one is a keeper. Once I find a holster, it's going to be an attachment when I walk out the door. Sorry for the poor cell phone pics.

I don't think that's bad AT ALL for fresh out of the box new gun shoot'n!!!

I have the stainless version too and could not be happier with it. I've got about 400 rounds without a failure of any kind, and the trigger is just awesome.

I'm still trying to decide on a holster too. I have that darn middle-aged tire thing going so I'm not sure IWB will work, but I'm liking the looks of the Mitch Rosen one on the Ruger site. Still can't make up my mind though.

Hope you like your 9c as much as I do mine!!!

I've got a P11 also and I don't think anyone in the whole world likes their triggers except for maybe the guy who designed it. And I bet he's been kicking himself in the butt for years over it. ("What was I thinking?") LOL
BTW, I LOVE my SR9c, one of my favorite weapons and that's saying a lot as I also a major wheelgun guy.

Welcome to the "SR" family..... Now you know the new Ruger's......

I have had my SR9c for about a year and I still grin when I'm at the range wtih her!

Have fun cooking up some loads , be safe.

Lateck,

Congratulations! I've been carrying my SR9c for almost a year, and I like it just as much as when I bought it. I've got over 2000 rounds through it and the trigger is crisp and smooth, and it's a very accurate shooter. I've tried out Glocks, XDs, and M&P's, and and none of them outdid the SR9c for me.

Couldn't resist posting a picture of my Taurus 85 next to the sr9c I just picked up today.

I was really on the fence with this gun. I was eyeballing a glock 26 and an m&p compact at one store. And next thing you know I impulse bought this a week ago.

Hopefully this is a good fit for me.
