I wuz keepin Butch 'n' Sundance at bay until th' Pinkertons showed up

For real, mine gets the most holster time in the desert of all my revolvers.

Thanks for the comments, all.

A drift adjustable front sight seemed to
be the way to go on this one. would have
liked to keep the ejector, but the cases
usually just fall free anyhow, until well
into a shooting session.

I like it. My ejectorless is a 2" barreled Colt SAA in 45Colt. I've been thinking of a midsize OM Blackhawk 3" ejectorless but still thinking.

Love those Colt sheriffs. I'll get about 1/2
or 2/3 saved up for one, and it disappears
for something somewheres else that I can't
pass up. :?

I love the "pipe wrench" tracks on the barrel in the first image......

What IS that grip frame in the first image? It looks kinda long, like one
of the Colt Dragoon styles. I dunno....... ?????

Thanks for sharing the images! Looks like a bunch of fun.

I DO have a pipe wrench in the tool box.
Am pleading innocent on it's use tho...

The trigger guard and back strap are
regular old Uberti SAA units. Used a Colt hammer.
Firing pin still had some wiggle at battery, so
I figured I was good to go.

Can see how a 45ACP would lend itself
well to an application like this. Short
cartridge withdrawal, finger nail extraction
of empties, etc.

Oldies you are correct. I shoot more 45ACP's in my ejectorless than 45 Colts and they shoot better overal.

Oldies would it be asking to much to get you to take a straight on side picture of your 45 Boot Gun I am much interested in your grip frame.

Can do. A friend welded up the ejector boss
as well as the back strap.
Small gap up by the cylinder frame. Hope to fix it soon.
