I am certain other folks have had time frames where all does not go well.

My beloved, Mrs. Pawncop is having one of those times.

Saturday, she is with my granddaughter at a track meet. This is the first track meet for my six (6) year old granddaughter at one of the high school stadiums, and slips and falls, nothing drastic but her left knee and elbow is sore.

She returns home and on Sunday slips, falls and her right elbow is now sore as well.

Today, Tuesday, she tells me she would like some baby back ribs from one of the local vendors in our area.

The folks tell me the ribs have been cooking for four and one (4.5) hours. She bites in to one the sections, and breaks her upper denture into two (2) pieces.

Her dentist is on vacation, will not be back in the office until next Wednesday.

She is going to manage, because she is a strong Texas woman.

I just feel this ain't fair. I realize fair is where you get a cotton candy and corn dogs, but I feel for my beloved.

I guess I feel better when I secan share with my extended family, but I wish I could make it better for her.

I will advise that offering to purchase Pablum does not make it better. :D

Hope things get better for her soon.

I can identify somewhat as my wife has fallen twice in the last week and has bruised herself all over.

Now is the time to pamper her. Do some of the chores such as washing the dishes, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming the living room, taking out the trash, or mowing the lawn.

The investment brings many returns!

Wow, that is some stretch of bad luck. :( Take extra good care of her (I'm sure you already are) and things will get better. You folks will be in my thoughts and prayers Pawncop.

Take solace in the fact that all these troubles are temporary and will return to normal in the near future. Nothing has happened that can't be laughed about in the near future.
Hope she is feeling better and laughing soon.

Hi,

Sure hope things change for the better soon! A prayer comes that she's back on her feet quickly, and DOESN'T repay that "Pablum" comment when she is... ;)

About a year ago, "The Boss" tripped on the top step, sprained her ankle, and hit her head on a door frame, getting a cut on her scalp that took 5 stitches to close. Exactly a week later, she was slicing a ham and neatly took a slice off the side of her thumb.

The worst part is that she's a recently retired RN who used to work in the ER, and knows everyone there. They all said it was their professionalism that kept them from giving her a hard time.

They say that bad things come in threes.... hopefully things will get better.

Life gets better after Friday for both of you Mr. & Mrs. Pawncop;
Friday the 13th & a full moon; stay home & be safe;
From your medical expierences(hospital work) didn't you find it very busy & crazy on full moon nights? As a church going Christian I don't buy into it a lot but I think the human body is affected physically by the full moon.
look forward to a dinner nite out with yall when you come toward Hou area;

prayer for the wife, randy
