My daughter and I love watching movies together. Actually right now we are deep in the middle of the Castle TV series. It’s pretty good. NYC homicide detectives with Nathan Fillian (sp) who is a writer/consultant for the police.
But we also love the older movies. The good ones, like Blues Brothers. The music in that movie cannot be beat. The first time we watched it, we only watched the scenes with the songs and I fast forwarded through the dialogue.
But now she knows all the “interesting” words.
So we just watch the whole movie.
It’s usually a movie we watch over summer break.
A few months ago I found this poster on EBay and then I got it framed. When I bought it on EBay, I didn’t stop to think how big it is. It’s 3 feet tall and 5 feet wide.
The frame store was backed up, so it took about 2 months to get done. But I just got it back yesterday.
And man, it’s just awesome. It’s big enough which helps. It’s also an original movie poster from the 80’s. The Italian version. But it’s kind of funny, because “I Fratelli” is a pizza joint here in Dallas.
There’s not a point to this thread, besides the fact I’m just excited about it. I was going to give it to my daughter, but if she ever moves away, I think I’ll keep it.
