I posted this earlier today in the Revolver Section too ...... http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=231058

I've stumbled onto another one ..... haven't seen it in person yet and won't get to until tomorrow.

OM 45, s/n 45-11xxx, with the box. Supposedly the gun is "near mint" and box is "very nice". Sorry, that's the extent of the info at this time.

So ..... what's a ballpark price to start with?

Edit to add: After reading RENE, I admit I do not know (YET) if this has one cylinder or two which I'm sure would make a HUGE price difference.

Remember the RENE price doesn't include the box which is worth quite a bit by itself and that the price is for a 95 percent gun. A near mint one goes up from there

RENE list the Old Model .45 Blackhawk, 7 1/2 in bl. in 95% condition at $775.00. The same gun as a convertible is at $845.00. A box for the above guns would be listed at $150.00. The manual at $32.00.

Those prices are what a collector buying from another collector both knowing what they are buying or selling, would consider in the ball park value. Yes it's possible to find someone needing to sell and not knowing what they have, and get it for a cheaper price. One needs to remember, though, there are less Old Model .45 Blackhawks made then .44 Mag. Flattops and you know what they sell for. So if this is a nice gun don't let it get away.
