Moon clip stripping

Has anyone tried the Brownells moon clip stripper? Any other tips for stripping 9mm Speed 6 clips? Thanks, DB30

I use the Brownells stripper for my Smith 25-2 (45acp) moon clips. I like it - I've had it for several years, and I assume it's the same as currently sold. Mine is a handle on hollow steel tube with cut outs on business end to engage edge of moon clip and easily twist out the cartridge/case.

Not sure if it's the same tool, but the Demooner does quick job of it.

There's also a loader that lets you load all six into the clip at once.

I made one from a short length of copper tube. Worked the same as the Brownell's but without the handle. Guess I could've put a handle on it...but without it, it fit in the case with the gun.(No longer have the gun.)

I also made a mooner/demooner from a scrap peice of 3/8" copper with a step cut on one end & then capped the other end & polished it up with Mothers..
Handy little tool that I keep with my 9mm Smith & Wesson 940s gear..
I also made up one from a golf club handle made from Carbon Graphite that also works great too, It's in my range bag..
