In a previous thread the Tandem Kross Victory Trigger kit was mentioned. I've had a couple complete kits hanging on the wall for some time. Both for MKIV 22/45. I'm on vacation this week and decided to throw one in.
What I figured on being about 20 minutes at most turned into a frustrating endeavor...with a few outbursts that would have gave the Old Man in A Christmas Story some competition. I walked away from it. Odd. This isn't a difficult task.
Last weekend I tore down an M1A...it had not been deep cleaned for over a year and I know Seabee Son has put a ton down range with it the last few times he was home on weekend liberty and leave. I actually enjoy tearing down. It was my favorite rifle back in the Navy days. Anyway...I spent almost 10 minutes trying to put the bolt back in the receiver. Odd. I walked away, had few fingers of Rare Breed, went back to the bench and popped it right in and slapped her together ready for inspection.
So, I'm heading to the deck for a few Rare Breeds and a nice maduro smoke....to ponder why I am short circuiting on simple things lately.
I will hit it again tomorrow, and probably have it done in 10 minutes...hoping for some range time THU.
