MKIII 22/45

Just got a new 22/45 and want to install a trigger, hammer and sear and do away with the mag safety. Is the only difference between the MKII and MKIII fire control group the mag safety? Will a MKII hammer work in the MKIII? I don't have a bushing like the MKII has but I do have several small washers that I think will work with the MKII bushing. Thanks in advance,

A MK II hammer bushing works best but you can also use the washers.

Thanks guys, that's what I figured but wanted to make sure before I ordered. I really don't see any need in the mag. safety.

Excuse a 'noob' question but what is a mag safety? I have searched the Ruger breakdown and nowhere is a mag safety mentioned, either in the written instructions nor the parts breakdown. PS...I have asked this same question in two places and am awaiting an answer form anyone.
