There is a Ruger Competition Target for sale here locally. It is in very good to excellent condition. It has a Millet Red dot sight on it. I do not want the red dot. I haven't been keeping up on the prices of the Ruger semi auto 22 pistols for several years. He is asking $475 for it. How much is the red dot worth? Is this a good price on the gun?

Fair price on gun. I am in Ga. Used ones average around $450.

Many red dots are $25 items. Bet you can Google the brand of it for more info.

Even with the Millet red-dot, that is a good price. The Millet red-dot isn't a BAD optic, although the intensity dial can be a bit hard to turn, it is still a viable choice. New the Millet sells for around $50.00.
