MKI extended magazing release

Good morning,
Has anyone fitted an extended magazinerelease on a
ruger (MKI) standard auto?
I am considering installing one on my MKI, but I would
like to hear from someone that has done this, and what thir
experence has been.

I recently installed one on my 1953 RST-4.

Easy to do even without having to use both my left thumbs. Simple part, non-intrusive in any way but far more easily usable than the original flat butt-release.

Brownells is source for what I got.

I've done a few as well. Not hard at all. Just make sure you get the spring in the correct place.

They're all pretty much the same as installation goes for the heel latch magazine catch. I prefer the Ranch Products extended latch due to the size and ease on the fingertip during use.

Good morning and thanks for the help.
I called Randch Products and ordered one of their extended releases
for my pistol Saturday morning. It will be here in a couple of days and
I'm looking forward to installing it.
