MK678G Serial Numbers

I'm out of town without my info. What serial number did the MK678G Blued Government Target start with. Not the U.S. models.

I've run across a MK678G none U.S. gun serial number 210-20018. This dates to 1984 on the Ruger Mark II Serial Number search. But the civilian version MK678G weren't produced until 1987. And I thought all 210- prefix were U.S. guns. When I enter the number on the Ruger page that gives info on model etc the page says it's unable to locate that number. Am I missing something here?

It's my understanding that Ruger only replaces barreled receivers, never just barrels or receivers. Kind of a long shot, but if one went back to Ruger with a bad/damaged barrel or receiver, the repaired pistol would have whatever serial number was on the replacement part, whenever it was manufactured.

Overrun of the US guns? Maybe they built additional units expecting another order that didn't materialize so they sold them to the public.

The only records that will show up on Ruger's serial number lookup page are those that are digitized. I have been able to find sn's as far back as 1976 on there, but generally... not until 1984 or 1985 will you be able to find information on particular serial numbers consistently.
The entire 210-00000 to 210-50000 block was reserved for the MK678G. Currently he highest known U.S. marked gun is 210-19295. But there are a few of the "civilian" contract MK678G's that were made in the 210-18xxx range before the last small contract of U.S. marked guns.
Then the MK678G civilian model continued to 210-50000

From my current computer version of my reference:
MK-678G with "U.S." rollmarked above serial number. A total of 17,439 were produced in the first contract (contract number DAAA09-83C-4901…awarded in 1983) with deliveries beginning in July 1984 and completed in August 1985. An additional contract for 964 pistols (contract number DAAA09-86C-0512) was completed by August 1986 for a total of 18,403 pistols. Known s/n and s/n range 210-00051 to 210-19295.
