Above instruction booklet, dated 1 July, 1950 (dated on inside not front page). Back page has in smallest type and red ink "Correction note: A5 magazine should read A5 magazine latch $1.00.

Is this the second version of the auto instructions? If not, then what version?

It cam in my 50 buck early but ragged one piece box.

Yes, second printing with the July 1, 1950 date. I do not believe all of them have the red print correction note.
The type of manual you have there is probably also on a different slick type paper?
Note that Mark I components are listed in this manual. The Mark I didn't get announced till the end of 1950.

Yes, the paper is different, thinner and slicker.

Yes, there are 5 parts listed for the for the MK 1 and a picture and name of both on the front.

The Mark I started at serial # 15000 and announced Dec 1950. However didn’t shipments start in 1951?
So in affect they used instruction sheet as a pre advertisement. It was circulating 5 months prior to earliest Mark I sales in Jan 1951.

Correct on the dates.
Could have been pre-advertisement, but more than likely they jumped the gun before the gun was ready. Those early prototype Mark I's have a lot of early features of earlier 4-3/4" red eagle variations.
