I worked at several national laboratories for 35 years starting in 1975. I was the youngest nuclear control systems Engineer on-site when I started.

Nearly all of my coworkers held the highest level Department of Energy/Department of Defense security clearances.

Most of those Engineers and Scientists have since died, or moved-on to parts unknown.

I suppose that must all be part of a nefarious plot as well.

I'd provide more details, but then I'd have to kill you.
