Help! Embarrassing to ask this, but here goes. Took my newly purchased (used) Mini 30 apart for cleaning after first trip to the range. No problem with reassembly until the last item, trigger unit. Can't get it to reseat in the rifle. Didn't take trigger apart during cleaning. Seems like its binding but can't pinpoint. Any suggestions/hints? Thanks.

Okay, I'll ask the obvious first. Is the trigger COCKED with the safety ON?

Also check to see if the mag latch pivot pin is inserted all the way.
