How Orianthi isn't fronting for a famous hard rock band I can't figure out! Her guitar skills are next level. She was born 30 years too late or she could have hung out with Clapton in his prime.

She’s toured with some well established players. Think I’ve seen her with Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Derek Trucks, Joe Bonamassa and maybe others. Agree, she’s the bomb. Samantha Fish is another blonde bombshell blues guitar talent too.

Yeah I’m still plucking away on the Telecaster. There’s no Grammys in my future I’m sure. Still play 30 - 45 minutes a day. Have jammed a couple times with local guys who are VERY experienced. I tackle the rhythm parts and try to keep up.

Got a nice compliment from my instructor last week. I thought he was in the rest room and I was warming up playing Simple Man ….. he told me I was nailing it and seemed to play better when I thought I was alone.

I've probably OD'd everyone on Orianthi, so I'll quit for now. Most assuredly, I will be putting more up in the future. She's quickly becoming my new music obsession. Fascinating woman and phenomenal guitarist.

Kudos on your instructors compliment. If you can keep playing along with others it will definitely help. Maybe see if you guys can get together and play parties, weddings, back yard BBQ's or other things like that. That will really tighten up your skills and gives you more self confidence. Keep at it. You may be the next Kieth Richards, ya never know. ;)
