I recently tried to post some pics on a Winchester topic but wasn’t able to get the pics to show up. I haven’t shot this gun for a while but could have sworn it said 30 WCF aka 30/30 on the barrel. While taking the pics I see it says 32 WS. Not likely I would have loaded the wrong ammo but it does give one pause about knowing what you think you know. Old jokes can start now. :)

Maybe you did load 30/30 in it all along? It will do it. Years ago my dad started to come down with Alzheimer's. He was a widower in Wisconsin and I had to leave my home in California, go back home and help him sell out. We had a auctioneer come over to see what all was going up for auction. The auctioneer asked dad what about that garden tractor? Dad says no, that will go with the place. Auctioneer pointed out another tractor in the shed and said "What about this one"? Dad looked confused and said I didn't know I had that!

I hate to admit this, but I had bought a rifle from an acquaintance, an old 25/20 that was just an old gun. I cleaned it up and couldn't find ammo to try it out so I put it away. That was a year ago and now I cant figure out what I did with it, I'm sure I put it somewhere, there wasn't room in the safe at the time. I just can't remember where!

I have been looking all over for two different GPS`s I own and cant find either one!

I looked all over for a couple risers for a new AR I built. Looked in drawers, parts bins, all over the house and garage. Come to find out I already had them on another AR! LOL! Getting old sucks.

For my 17th birthday I received a sporterized Lee-Enfield rifle together with a box of .303 Savage ammunition. I suspect my folks were having a memory problem. Of course I didn't know the difference and promptly shot up the whole box of Savage ammo. Actually no harm was done but the cases were seriously fire formed. One clue I should have noticed was that the ammunition did not fit will into the magazine.

Memory, what memory????????????????
I was looking for my reading glasses a couple of days back. After about 5 minutes, I went to get another pair of glasses to make finding the glasses easier and found YOU CAN'T WEAR TWO PAIR OF READING GLASSES. A solid 25% of my time is spent looking for things I just laid down and it's not because I can't see them--it's because they've scampered off to someplace else.

What's the #1 Pickup Line in an Alzheimer's Bar?

"Do I come here often?"

The best thing about Alzheimers is that you get to hide your own eggs.

The second best thing about Alzheimers is that you meet new people every day.

I find myself going to another room to get something and then standing there for awhile trying to remember what I came for.

Been there, done that exact same thing!

More than once.
