Got the email and looked at it and it really doesn't do anything for me. I like the looks of a traditional Marlin, Winchester, etc lever action. Is going "tactical" what everyone wants, are they going to sell so good that Ruger makes heaps of money?

I guess I'm just old fashioned but it may sell very well to the younger, more hip than me riflemen out there.

Truly a "pig" for sure. No thank you.

not for me. What I want is a classic walnut and blue steel 1894 in .22 Mag.

Betting this is lower cost and higher margin proposal. You don't have to do a nice polish job on the receivers and matching components, and likely can use up some of those that did not pass muster.
