Fun guns, aren't they? I had the .45 version but I sold it because it became so valuable. The 9mm version is really a great plinker! I sure like how yours looks with the stock and the sights!
I wish they would make this handy little rifle again, only set up for a Glock magazine. Betcha it would sell like hotcakes, especially if they installed stocks like yours. Great job!
By the way, I bought my Marlin Camp Carbine Model 45 (.45 acp) in 1986 for $175. I shot it many times, but was always careful to clean it thoroughly after each outing. I kept the stock ding free and I had the box and papers and stickers put away for safekeeping.
It was the gun I shot the least so I decided to sell it to help finance another gun "enhancement."
I put the Marlin 45 up on Gunbroker for a penny with no reserve for a one week auction.
It sold for $1380.00! They have become very collectible and therefore very desirable. If you ever see a 9mm or .45 for sale at a decent price, snap it up!
