i've always wanted one, finally got one, and, it may have an interesting story. the serial starts with "92", which means it was made in 2008, but when i contacted remington, they said it was made in '09. the barrel is stamped "jm", and roll stamped made in connecticut. anyone have any insight on this potentially interesting gun? it's never been fired, btw.

Based to Remington's chart, it should be 2008. Could be it was made toward the end of the year and did not clear records until 2009. The JM stamp means the the rifle was made by the Marlin division not the Remington Division.
