Make it a Bisley?

Can I swap the Bisley goodies (grip frame, hammer, trigger) from an Accusport .357 over to my stainless Lipsey Flattop .45 with 4 5/8th inch barrel? I shoot the Bisley framed revolvers soooo much better, even with standard pressure loads.

I would just purchase the stainless Bisley parts kit and have it fitted but have read that Ruger isn't offering them anymore.

I fully understand that if I cannabilize both revolvers, Lipseys or Talo will announce the same day that they are making a run of stainless Bisley Flattops with 4 5/8th inch barrels. Then again, if I don't, it will ensure they NEVER offer it. I'm just lucky that way.

Soooo, Jason, if your listening....any chance you could share the contents of your crystal ball for 2012?

I can't say specifically for a "flat top", but it's worth the effort.

Excellent! Thanks for the replies gentlemen.

Mountain William - THAT's the idea. I presume that was done on a New Blackhawk? One reason I prefer making the change to a New Vaquero Flattop as opposed to cutting down a new stainless Bisley is to benefit from the fluted cylinders that come with it. That's a nice looking revolver you have there.
