I know this is an odd first post but is anyone watching the lot of 50 mags for sale on gunbroker? Seems like the most reasonable price on mags but I don't think I need that many.

To make this a little more normal of a first post I'll say I just traded a friend for a very nice condition stainless P94 9mm. I put 80 rounds through it while we were 'test firing' each other's guns. I like it very much.

You could always buy them then resell them at a small mark up to get your money back out of em'.

Thought about that. With my luck the market would bottom out before I unloaded them and I'd have 20 or so mags that I end up selling at an overall loss of $200. If I got a few people interested in a partial lot I'd be all for it. I'd volunteer to handle all the shipping work.

I did post about this in another forum already. Any takers?

Can you post the link? Depending on the part Ruger # and the serial # of P89DC I can help you by buying a couple.

So what did that lot of 50 mags sell for? I have been off the forum for a few weeks but I might have been interested in them had I known about them.

Didn't sell yet.

Do it dwd!

I wonder why it has to ship to an ffl? I have a C&R ffl, I wonder if that counts?

I just sent him a message and asked why the need for FFL. We shall see if I get a reply and what it says.

Actually, the price for OEM Mags isn't bad at all... but was better when there were 50 vice 45 (5 missing).

PAVTXER,
Did you ever hear anything back about the ffl? I didn't, but I bought them anyway and now I have to figure out the payment/shipping.

No word... and I sent a message twice. I won't bid or buy from someone that doesn't answer my questions or emails.
Ooops... I see you got em I guess. So what about the FFL? That seems like an added cost. CDNN or MIDWAY doesn't ship those to an FFL, nor should those be.

Curious as to what or how he is going to compensate you for the five missing mags... either add 5 or deduct from your bid the price of the five they have missing??? Curious.

So, let us know what you are going to let some go for. I could be a player if the price/shipping is fair.

At this point they knocked off $10.25, total. Didn't seem fair to me, looks like I paid $20.50 each so they should knock off $102.50 for five less mags. (could have been an error on the decimal)

I will wait until I get them in hand until I decide whether to parse them out.

Looks like you are taking a screwing on the missing 5

I agree with your math..... you might want to address it with them.

So, what was/is the deal with the FFL? Was that an error on their part as well or ???

I just heard back from them, turns out it was an error with the calculator.

Good for you.... Thankfully it worked out ok.

Let us P-Nuts know about lightening your load after the dust settles.

I called them today and it turned out my C&R ffl was okay, so I sent it and a check. Now we'll see what happens.

Let me know what you decided to do with some of these I would like a couple for my P89.

If I'm reading this correctly (P89 (Serial No. 304-70000 & Above), P93, P94, P95™ pistols)they should fit my P89 since it starts with 310-xxxxx.
