I wrote the name of a product that would help in loading semi auto pistol clips, but of course I can't find it.

Does anyone know of this/any product that helps loading stubborn high-tension spring magazine clips? I'm tired of thumb-bustin' !

Your help is GREATLY appreciated.

Uplula IIRC as seen here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/221527896839?lpid=82

a new model fits any centerfire; cost about $35; well worth it

You're thinking of the "UPLULA" which comes highly recommended by lots of folks who know whereof they speak. Sorry I can't provide a link but many here probably can. Meantime, a quick search should provide details and sources. Your thumb will thank you.

Steve

edit: I'm clearly not the fastest draw here.

:D You are looking too hard guys, go to the Ruger website they come with every new Ruger centerfire auto pistol and replacements are available for $10.

Cape Cod Terry :D :D

How much of an advantage is the Uplula over the standard Ruger loader that comes with the gun?

Once you try the UpLula, you'll understand why so many folks LIKE them so much. Very easy to operate & work on a good variety of firearm magazines. I own a couple of different models, and use them in my WOT clinics. The ladies LOVE them as it's much easier, and doesn't break their fingernails! Besides, we all like to accessorize our guns & gear!

Good heck you're thumb will thank you. Uplula works on new mags. They make them for every rifle and handgun. I use mine for the 32 round glock mag, and it helps!

$10 vs 35. Yes I have used the cheap ones. Uplula is worth it. Their older model isn't as adaptable as the newer one.

I use UPLULA on .380, 9 MM, .40 and .45. Works equally well on all and the only thing that slows me down is how fast I can pick up the next round to load. GREAT gadget.

Uplula is, indeed, a handy little gadget. I have poor hand strength in one hand and it has saved me many struggles!

You and ME both VQ; Ashley got one for her 45 and when I saw how easy it was to work, I got one for my 9 mms. Thank goodness !!
