Those 10/22 box magazines are tough to load! Is anyone using a Magazine loader that they can recommend? I was going to pick up a 25 round mag, but I don't think that my finger(s) would last that long!!

Thanks for any suggestions.

Out of my one BX-1 and multiple BX-25's the BX-1 is the easiest to load (and the 25's aren't that bad either, just works the fingers/thumb that much more).

I have also thought about getting a speed loader and did a little research into the two main contenders, the Champion and the Butler Creek. Both seem to have their plusses and minuses, both can be great or finicky, neither one manages to be the clear winner. There's also the McFaddin Lightnin' Grip loader but it (supposedly) doesn't work with Ruger-brand magazines.

Good luck with your search.

I have a Butler Creek loader and if you follow the directions and hold it at the correct angle it works great & saved my fingers.

So the Butler Creek will load the BX magazines? I wasn't sure if it was only for the Butler Creek Magazines? All of my ones are Ruger BX not Butler Creek...
