I saw a .30-06 M77 hollow bolt in a shop yesterday. Not perfect, a scratch a couple of inches on the top of the barrel near the muzzle and the butt pad was a little chewed up on one edge. Price was $450.

Haven't seen a hollow bolt in awhile...

Rugernelli, it could very well be worth it. A question for you. Was the rifle a 'R' with no sights, a 'RS' with sights or a very rare 'ST' roundtop action with sights? I'm guessing the 'R' version would be the most common seen. My understanding is a total of only a couple thousand Hollowbolts were ever made in half a dozen different calibers, so there obviously scarcely seen.

It did not have sights, so the R version. There were no rings on it but the tag said it came with rings. Top was milled for rings as well so not the ST.

I think this is only the second or third that I have seen around here. For the asking price price, I didn't think it was too bad if one was looking for one. I did not like the scratch on the barrel and the chewed edge of the butt pad. I believe the serial number was 70-22xxx.
