My m77 African purchased in 2012 won't feed Hornady DG ammo, seems like the flat rear breech face interferes with the blunt nose of the DG bullet. Anybody else had this issue? I've got an m77 Alaskan in .375 Ruger that does fine with Hornady DG and the .416 does fine with lighter pointed soft nose bullets. My impression was that this ammo was designed specifically for this rifle. No luck getting feedback from Ruger or Hornady. Anybody's thoughts would be appreciated.
