I think my new Lyman sizing die is sizing to small.
When the case is sized it looks like it has a buldge the last 3/16" at the bottom.
But measuring them I find that they are being sized smaller up top.
When using my Lee sizing die they look fine and measure a lot better.
Cases are same head stamp from same lot, fired once with the same load.
The Lyman is sizing a full .004 smaller,
Seems they are overworking the brass, should I take these Dies back ?
Exterior case diminsions after sizing.

Lee: .4525 until the last 1/8" then .454
Sizing ring measures .4505
Lyman .4485 until last 3/16" then .454
Sizing ring measures .446

I don't know weather it is overworking your brass, but if you decide to sell the Lyman let me know. I shoot heavy loads, and the more case neck tension the better for me!

Well I returned the die set to the store
Now I have no .44 Dies :(
Wonder what set to buy now ?

44 or 45? I assuming 45. What is wrong with the LEE Sizing DIE?....................

.44 Mag SBH
Nothing was wrong with the Lee set, but I got a lot of recommendations for the Lyman because of the "M" die, so I got the Lyman set and sold my Lee set to soon.
I ordered the Lee 4 Die set and the Lyman "M" die seperate, they should be here tomorrow :)
