I have used RCBS dies and others since forever and recently set up a set of Dillon dies and I'm disappointed on one hand and pleased on the other.
The carbide die feels like a steel die without lube and sizing is pretty hard, nothing like the smooth glassy sensation that my RCBS and other brand sizing dies have.
The "accucrimp" die on the other hand is outstanding. I've looked at other current Dillon seating dies but they have some sort of seat plug on top held by a cotter pin. Does anyone know if Dillon changed the seat die over the years? I'd really like to get more of the type I posted (the one without the cotter type pin) in the pic. Neither of the dies are mine, the die in my set is roll marked accucrimp.
