OK WOLFSONG, ELGATO, CAS, AND RUGER PACKER thanks for locking the thread to whoever did it, I did not PM every mod on this forum as that would be so redundit and it appears to be a useless action. Yes I am a lil bitter about this whole thing as it has been happening over the last 3 months. Now I could understand if I had been banned for something, but I do not think I have. How does a members name or password just quit working and when u push the "contact admin " it does nothing. I have tried to contact the Admin but never can get an answer. If I appear to be ragging all mods then please accept my appology as that was not my intention , I only want my account back. If it was explained to me why this happen and there is noway it can be corrected then so be it but at least I deserve an explanation Again I am truly sorry if I hurt anyones feelings and I love this community and want to stay , but not if I keep losing passwords every few weeks/months. I've had some posts just disappear, but nothing like your problems. I will say, this is a free web forum. There is no paid full time babysitter. Patience is needed. This site is worth it.

You forget, the account is not "yours". The forum owner is just that, the owner.
You are a user. One, that just like all the rest of us, is here only when we
adhere to the guidelines set up by the owner.

Cool your jets and let things happen. Attempting to force them only creates
additional frustration/problems.

USARet27,,, (now 11H40),,, I can fully understand your frustrations. First, I'm not a mod, or admin, but I have seen a few issues lately.
First, Flatgate rarely does any admin "work" as he prefers to let better computer skilled folks handle such stuff.
Next,,, we have had some issues as of late where the "site is unavailable" or other such nonsense. You can thank hackers & spammers for such crap. Computers are great, but thanks to the evil intentions of the minority who want to disrupt & control things we occasionally experience issues. If you notice, this Forum is "ad free" and as such it helps cut down the bad crap we could get. The same goes for unprotected places like gmail, yahoo, etc. Those places are full of spammers who want to get into our computers. (I have a yahoo acct, and daily I get 10-50 spams written in Farsi. And that doesn't count the other crap I get there. I average over 150 spams daily.)

I'm not making excuses for anybody here, but as noted, the admins & mods do volunteer. It takes TIME to keep this place running smoothly.
Have a bit of patience & by letting the mods know you are having issues, politely, will get the admins attention.

I have seen where longtime members here lost their account, and had to re-register from time to time. If I recall a reason it often has come down to the "old" name or account got compromised & had to be deleted.

Give them a bit of time & I'm sure they will contact you. You may not be able to get your old account back, but you could do a bit of a creative re-register. Adding a single letter or number to your old handle can let folks know that "it's you" from days of old.

What's redundant is starting threads over and over and over again with the same Rosie O'Donnell.

You complained and some of the Mods answered with all the information we know.

OK it has been 5 days now since I PM'd every moderator I could about

A little contradictory there. (another uncontacted mod here)

It's already all been said but maybe this will help. Have you tried resetting your password? If yes, was it successful and then quits again? Are you sure it's not a caps or num lock thing? One of my computers when I dock and undock automatically goes to num lock and messes me up quite frequently.

Try resetting you PW on any of your account using the email (forgot my PW0 option if you haven't and see if that helps.


PM me and I will try to help, but remember mods don't have admin rights. I may think of things I can do somewhere else.
