I hear these things are good to about 22,000 cup.
What hotter loads would that include?

I can't remember why, but I had loaded Cast Performance 265 WFNGC over 20.0gr of IMR-4227(probably because I also used it in my smokeless muzzleloader along with Lilgun). I managed to take 2 deer with that load that year. Neither ran out of sight, but both were less than 40 yard shots. And low and behold, that load is a lowly "Colt Safe" load per the article mentioned above. And here I am a couple of years later trying HP's, 475's, ect, to keep them from running out of sight.
Maybe I need to take that mid frame 45 that belonged to my friend and the rest of that box of 45's to the range and then to the woods and see if they still work like they did back then.
