I use frankford arsenal loading blocks from midwayusa.

they are caliber specific and work very well for me.

the one you need for .45 acp is 5S.

I also recommend satern aluminum powder funnels. no static issues!

I stopped using loading blocks, found them to be no advantage to me, putting cases them in and pulling them back out to load them putting them back in the block is just more steps that take me more time.

Now I just pick up cases out of the pile dump the powder in set and crimp the bullet and put it in a storage case, I save about 15 minutes or so per 100 skipping the whole loading block thing all together.

6gun you must do yours a whole bunch different than me! I find the blocks keep me organized. I don't do a box all at one time. I clean, deprime, then prime, sometimes on different days!

I never do it all in one day either, I deprime, clean, size, debar, expand, then prime, if I'm not going to load them right away I put them in a zip lock bag to keep them clean, when ready to load I dump the cases out in a pile and dump out a pile of bullets, take the cases one at a time and load the charge then the bullet and crimp then into the storage box, I have my powder measure set up next to my press to dump the charge then set the bullet, this way I never do a double charge.

There's a million ways to reload and we all do it different, I just do what works best for me and with what equipment I have, and it's set up to be most productive for me, there is also better and fancier equipment than my old single stage set up but I'm not in a big enough hurry to need one of them auto loaders and couldn't afford to feed it if I did have one.

Yeah, I have an single stage too. I do all the prepping, put them I. The block, prime, whenever convenient, then charge and set bullet- hmm maybe I should seat the bullet then also. Ok maybe you taught me something!

Ps nope cause I bell the mouth and charge in one operation, then seat the bullet, then crimp with the 4th die.

Or maybe your just picking on me for saying set instead of seat cause there the same thing to me.

Oh. 6gun, I wouldn't pick on you. :). I didn't even think of it this time or I might have! You did make me stop, and think. That isn't a bad thing!

PS I set the bullet after I charge. It is just barely in the cartridge til I change dies and seat it.

I see what your saying, yeah I miss spoke right after I drop my powder in the case in the press it goes to seat and crimp the bullet.
