Picked this up last Saturday in the $300 section. A cute little OM Super Bearcat. Not perfect, but will make a great plinker for me and my Grandson. I like the extra weight of the SBC's........ :)

The action is very smooth and has a nice trigger. When I first picked it up, it wouldn't hold on half cock. After tighening the allen head screw next to the hammer, it was fine. Can't wait to get to the range.......

I am very impressed with your SBC. However, I am more impressed that your local gun shop still has a $300 gun section. The only thing in my local gunshop that costs as "little" as $300 is ammo. Great buy.

The seller was asking $350 and I asked what his bottom dollar was. He said $300. I said sold. I am happy to get it and look forward to teaching my grandson how to shoot safely with it. :D

Here's a pic of my son a few years back with his first handgun, a bearcat also. Its in a Hunter holster that I bought in brown and dyed black. A bearcat just fits a kids hand so perfect.

So cool! You are correct, the Bearcat does fit the youngsters' hand well. The first gun I ever fired was a Single Six back in the 50's. It did not fit me well as I remember. Wish it had been one of these little Bearcats........ :D
