The last run of exclusive RSI's ( 308 cal ) from Lipsey's sold out pretty fast.

Are there any more planned by Lipsey's ? If so, does Lipsey's have a caliber in mind ?

Regards, Vic

It sure seems like this will be an RSI, but they have not told us what the caliber will be.

Copy and paste it into your address bar. For some reason the entire address was not marked as a link in the forum.

Perhaps my browser isn't recognizing something here and/or I'm technologically deficient :?: .......anyway - I'm unable to connect. Thanks for the tip though.

I can tell you the last 2 versions, 7x57 and 308, both came out right at the end of the year 2010, 2011. I am confident the series will continue from what I have heard, and why not given the great success of this series for Lipseys. No ideas of caliber choice however.

Can add the link for you:

Copy and paste to link, clicking the above does not seem to work.

Following this almost daily since late February. Most (correctly) agree evidence is for an RSI of some sort, best evidence is the little grey foam piece in the pic.

Referring to a bolt RSI.....i wish Ruger did not have a limit on the barrel wall thickness.
Those RSI's just scream 338 RCM or 358 WIN.

A 358 77RSI would be very well received, Ruger could do it with little difficulty I suspect.

I wish factory could produce a 338-06 in a K77RSI or even a #1S, or #1RSI. This new Lipseys offering is supposed to be something never offered before-a result of folks asking for this version , so maybe some of the impossible to produce versions might show up someday, if we keep asking for them.

Personally - I prefer the RSI model in the short action calibers ( and the 358 is ). I've always thought the 6.5-08 ( a.k.a. the 260 REM ) would be a great rifle.
