This thing is so handy. You can take it on and off quick and easy and it's fairly lightweight.

I love Doc's stuff and yes that's my Model 83 in .475. Hoping to get out your way in the not so distant future Dick, and if so I'll let you try it on and shoot the iron. I found that the Model 83 grip frame works really well for my hands, especially with the .475 Linebaugh.

Doc's work is not cheap,,, but I can attest to the quality. I'm up to 5 of his shucks so far. My favorite is my NW Hunter rig. Definitely a bit costly,,, but it carries & wears better than anything I've ever worn! To me,,, it is well worth the money.
