Let’s see your 22/45

my friend has two 22/45s. one is new ,the other used a little. he can not break it downto save his life !! what is the secret asnd yes he knows to push the button. HELP PLEASE
I've taken a LOT of Ruger Marks apart but I had one 22/45 that I finally gave up and sent to Ruger. It was either that or I was going to damage the pistol. Now it has no issues. Sometime you just gotta......
 
With the MK series the more you take them down the easier they get. In my opinion you don't really need to take down that much. Especially if just cleaning after a range session.

I had a couple that took a few fairly hard taps on the take down pin with a hard rubber mallet but no issues after they were apart a few times.
