Leon Parson Ruger Print Query

I have one of Leon Parson's, Ruger "This Land is Mine" framed, signed prints, see link below. It has "Artist Proof 86/95" in the lower left corner. Does anyone know what the value of one of these might be?

I've never heard of an artist proof before. There were originally 21 different paintings in the set. Then that was expanded to 42. I believe there were 950 of each print produced, and last I saw (several years ago) these at least weren't bring more than $25 to $40 each. Not sure what they would do today.
An artist proof will hopefully be much different for you price-wise than the "950" prints.

I think an artist proof, is the same print quality and that they just mark a few of the prints as such, so as to charge a higher price for it.

I did some posing for Don Troiani, who does historical military prints. In addition to a cash fee, he sent artist's proofs of the prints we'd posed for. I think the only difference was an indication to that effect, the artist's signature and an "x/yy" number indication.

Hey...been thinking about this for quite a while, and with a project I'm working on right now, who in the world would I contact to be able to do a "print" project? I have an individual doing some work for me for Book 2 and thought that a few other collectors might appreciate examples of the idea that I've started along those lines.

I have four of the ruger Prints by Tom Beecham that are Artists Proofs, The first 95 prints were signed as Artist proofs or AP on the print. I think they were for the Artist to give out to Friends and Family Beecham lived one mile from me and I have about fifty of his prints.

As mentioned above the first 95 of each print was signed by the artist and noted in the bottom left corner Artist Proof 52/95 etc. This is the only difference between these first 95 prints and the remaining 96-950 numbered prints.

KTM asked about price and there have been quite a few on ebay the last few months. The link below is one for sale with quite a bit of info. concerning these prints. This one has been on there with multiple re-listings and hasn't yet sold maybe due to shipping cost

I have that Double Trouble Print and it is Signed by the Artist but doesn't have 1/95 or 1/950 on the left hand corner like the other Prints. This print came right from Beecham to a good friend who gave me the prints.

Thank you for all the info on this. Here's some photos of the print, but not good photos as I was pressed for time.

My father won this at a fund raiser for either the RMEF or FNAWS. My mother couldn't remember which and doesn't have any records on it. Thanks again.
