Recently heard of NIB LCR revolvers that when the cylinder is open, the trigger can be pulled until the hammer is cocked & released. In other words, you can work the trigger assembly as you would if the cylinder is closed to fire a cartridge. These are new in box LCR revolvers that are on dealer shelves in three different stores in my area. So far, there have been five examples & I have seen two of them. Defect? Anyone else heard about this? Needless to say, Ruger has requested that these be sent back to Ruger for review.
