Actually, I got mine from my local dealer for a lot less than the standard LCP Max. The anniversary Edition has a much better, wider "finger friendly" trigger and safety blade and I no longer notice any recoil bite. One difference is, however, the stainless slide does not have the cocking ears.

I can remember when they first came out and I bought one... man, I must be older than I thought.....

PSA has them right now for $249, shipped it was $287 for me. Add another $25 for the transfer fee and it ends up just over $300 total. Ordered mine yesterday, was thinking of waiting to get a bodyguard 2.0 but this is much cheaper.

Same, it was too good a deal to pass up, that Ruger sticky holster is a bit small for it though, my Uncle Mike's #3 sticky holster fits the LCP max very well.

The trick is knowing which daily specials are really special vs ordinarily special. I think $199 for an LCP MAX is a great deal.

I have seen a lot of buzz about the bodyguard 2, but since i just got qty 2 of the LCP max & i haven't even gotten around to "upgrading" my shield to the shield plus I'd better wait for the bodyguard 3 or whatever they call the next version!
